Our Charity Partners
At ACOD, we believe that giving back is just as important as advancing professional excellence. That’s why we proudly support two registered charities dedicated to helping individuals living with vision loss. These organizations provide vital services, resources, and advocacy for people who face challenges with their sight, making a real difference in their lives every day.
To show our commitment, ACOD donates $10 (AUD) from every enrolment directly to each charity. By choosing ACOD, you’re not only investing in your own professional growth - you’re also contributing to causes that empower and support people with vision impairment. Together, we can make a meaningful impact in our community and help ensure that everyone has access to the care and resources they need.
The South Pacific Eye Care Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to advancing eye health and reducing preventable vision impairment, within disadvantaged communities of Australia and across developing regions of the South Pacific. Through volunteer outreach projects and mobile eye clinics, they provide vision screenings, dispense free prescription spectacles, manage minor acute eye conditions, and facilitate referrals for further care.
Since their first project began in 2024, they have provided vision screening to over 2,300 people and dispensed a little over 1,100 pairs of prescription glasses to those who would otherwise go without.
